LET'S WIN TOGETHER

WIN ONE FOR BOBBY

RFK68  : WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU LOSE A ONE OF A KIND HUMAN BEING

I KNOW WHAT I DID WHEN BOBBY KENNEDY WAS KILLED. IT REMINDED ME OF MY FATHER DYING WHEN HE WAS 39 IN PARIS. I WAS TOTALLY LOST.

I FELT THAT I HAD FAILED TO SAVE HIM. I CLIMBED UP THE TALLEST TREE I COULD FIND AND HUNG OFF A BRANCH. JIM AND GAYLEEN LAUGHED AND THOUGHT I WAS PLAYING AROUND AND ASKED ME TO COME DOWN.

I HUNG ON THAT BRANCH AND THEN A FUNNY THING HAPPENED. I SAW THIS AMAZING CALIFORNIA DAY. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL OUTSIDE. I DECIDED THAT I WAS ALIVE AND I COULD DO SOMETHING TO BECOME A RIPPLE OF HOPE. I CLIMBED DOWN WITH A DEEP DETERMINATION TO CREATE VALUE AS HE HAD DONE. I HAVE PRAYED FOR HIM FOR THE LAST 47 YEARS DAILY. I HAVE EVEN ASKED HIM TO GUIDE ME.

I pray for Pres. Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, and Ted Kennedy every day. I am thankful that I was a part of their lives. America owes a great deal of respect and appreciation for the fact that they gave their all for The United States of  America. We are the future they protected with their lives. Pray for them and love them for they truly lit the lights in our hearts.

WHEN I LOOK AT MY PAINTING OF THE LOTUS I CREATED I THINK OF RENEWAL. THINGS CHANGE BUT NOTHING IS LOST. ROBERT KENNEDY IS ALIVE IN MY HEART AND MEMORY. HE TAUGHT US HOW TO BE BRAVE AND COURAGEOUS. HE TAUGHT US HOW TO LOVE EACH OTHER.  I TOOK WHAT I LEARNED AND BEGAN TO CREATE VALUE WITH MY LIFE AND ACTIONS. WE ARE ALL BOBBY KENNEDY.
